Free Materials To Share

Many talented LDS musicians, writers and speakers offer visitors the opportunity to enjoy the fruits of their talent. Choir arrangments, mp3 music, full books and audio talks are all available on the internet at no cost.

We at LDSBook corner, have checked out each of these sites, so if you find a link that doesn't work or a site that charges to download their material, please contact the webmaster at ldsbookcorner@gmail.com.

Thorderson's site offers three albums of his music for free download as well as the script and lyrics to an LDS musical choir presentation titled, "...with sincere heart".

This site contains 50 plus arrangements, mostly of traditional LDS hymns written in choral (SATB), solo, instrumental, men's (TTBB), women's (SSA) parts done by Craig Petrie. Sheet music prints up in a pdf format and there are midi files attached so that you can hear how the music sounds before you download it.

This site contains choral, duet, solo and instrumental sheet music (PDF), and demo recordings for most selections (MP3). To view/print the scores, you'll need a PDF Reader installed on your computer. She has  lots and lots of music, some are arrangement’s of traditional LDS hymns,  while  others are her own compositions.

Contains music from the church Hymns, Children’s Hymn Book , music published in the Ensign, New Era, Seminary music, Girls Camp songs, and music written specifically for the Young Women’s Program. Site  includes MP3, and sheet music with some music  presented  in multiple languages.

The web site shows a list of songs that were printed in the New Era with the names of their composers and when they appeared in the magazine. When you click on the link you get a page with the words and a tiny graphic of the music. If you click on the graphic it blows up bigger. It still looked kind of small but when I printed it up from the webpage, it came out perfectly sized.

The music mp3s are really good quality, there is sheet music available as well. The music is all written by Joan Sowards and is mostly music for youth. The site is a little tricky to move around and some of the links don’t seem to work, but the music is really nice.

This site contains original compositions by Toni Thomas and Diane Tuiofu as well as arrangements of traditional hymns. The sheet music for a large number of songs is available to download. Although audio isn’t available to download, there are beautiful recordings of the songs being sung.
